While a moderate amount of fitness is expected from trekkers willing to go for this trek, you can further prepare yourself by getting your body moving ahead of the trek itself. 3 Days Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary

Day 1

Drive from Pokhara to Kande And Trek to Forest Camp

Trekking Destination –  Kande -Australian Camp- Pothana – Forestcamp
Trekking Duration – 7 Hour
Trekking  Distance – 14 Km
 Elevation  —               1173m

The first day of our trek shortly takes us from the hubbub of Pokhara to peaceful forests into nature. We start our journey through a drive from Pokhara to Kande, followed by a trek to forest camp. This scenic trek to the forest camp includes passing through an Australian Camp, infamous for the views of Pokhara and the Annapurna range that it offers. Further, we get deeper into nature, the sound of birds accompanying us, passing through the vibrant rhododendron forests and sub-alpine to reach Forest Camp.

Day 2

Trek from Forest Camp to High Camp

Trekking Destination – High Camp
Trekking Duration – 7 Hour
Trekking  Distance – 11 Km
 Elevation  —               3550 m

 

The second day awaits us with the most breathtaking views of the Himalayas, which we’re here for! Following an uphill trek from the forest camp takes us through the jungle exploring diverse flora and fauna, and a diverse landscape from jungle to pasture land. Accompanied by a pleasing view of Mount Machhapuchre (6,993m) and the infamous Annapurna range, we reach high camp to stay for the night.

Day 3

Trek to Siding and Drive back to Pokhara

Trekking Destination – Viewpoint Sunrise -Sidding
Trekking Duration – 5 Hour
Trekking  Distance – 8 Km
Elevation  —               1800 m

An early morning climbto  viewpoint for sunrise view ,  during sunrise treats us with the most tranquil view with the sun just hitting the snow-capped giants Mt. Machhapuchre, Mt. Mardi, Mt Dhaulagiri, Mt. Hiunchuli, and the Annapurna ranges. We enjoy the comforting view for some time, feel the fresh air of the Himalayas, and continue our trek downhill to Siding. We then reach Pokhara after a couple of hours’ drive from Siding.
