Group Join & Fixed departure Trek

If you’re traveling solo or with a group of two or three and want to join a fixed departure date group, a minimum of four people is required. In the event there aren’t enough participants for the adventure, we’ll notify you at least a month prior. You can then decide to either withdraw from the trip or opt for a private trip at an additional cost. If you choose to withdraw, we’ll refund your trip deposit with a deduction of 4% for bank service charges

Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary 6 Days

Day 1

(8 am Morning) From Pokhara Drive to Ghandruk by Private Jeep Overnight Ghandruk

 

Altitude: 800 m to 2,010 m
Elevation Gain: +1,210 m
Drive Distance: 50 km
Duration: 2 hours

The 6 days ABC Trek Itinerary begins from Pokhara , Our  Staff Will be present to your Hotel at 8 am and  heads out on a picturesque drive to Ghandruk, with its winding paths through terraced fields and lush hills. The drive is unspoiled to its charms, with places for photos and tea breaks if you want. When you’re climbing, you see the Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machapuchare peaks, which will make you excited.

In Ghandruk, settle into a traditional teahouse and wander through the stone paths of the village. If you go to Gurung Museum, you can hear about local culture, and see the beautiful silhouettes of the sunset over the mountains after your first day. This serene atmosphere, with its wide and sweeping views, provides you with the right feel for what awaits you on the trekking adventure to follow.

Day 2

Trekking from Ghandruk to Sinuwa -2340m, 5 Hour

Altitude: 2,010 m to 2,340 m
Elevation Gain: +330 m
Trek Distance: 11 km
Duration: 5 hours

Start your trek with a dense rhododendron forest with dappled sunlight and birdsong. Follow the path (which descends and then rises) to the Kimrong Khola, where the trail crosses a suspension bridge, then up to Chhomrong. Such a broad place where you can admire views of the Annapurna range and get a recharge at a local teahouse.

Descend steeply towards the Chhomrong Khola and then climb hard to Sinuwa. Some tranquil forested sections, the rustling of the leaves and mountain air makes it all rather calm. You will arrive in Sinuwa in the late afternoon, and settle into your teahouse, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the Himalayas, while you get ready for the next day’s ascent.

Day 3

Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali -3210m, 5, 6 Hour

Altitude: 2,340 m to 3,210 m
Elevation Gain: +870 m
Trek Distance: 10 km
Duration: 5 to 6 hours

Deurali is your upcoming destination on the ABC trek route. You will travel into dense, misty forests after departing from Sinuwa in the morning. Go uphill past Upper Sinuwa to Bamboo, a quiet stop with bamboo groves around. Between the trees, you’ll catch glimpses of peaks that are filled with snow and climb through rhododendron and oak woods.

Trekkers continue their trek and often stop for a brief rest past the Himalaya Hotel. The final stretch while going to Deurali is more rugged and open, with careful steps as you approach avalanche prone areas. Expansive mountain views get clearer as the trees are thinner. From here you will arrive at Deurali, a village which is a key stop to get acclimatizing prior to the climb to higher altitudes.

Day 4

Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp – ABC (4,130 m., 4, 5 hours).

Altitude: 3,210 m to 4,130 m
Elevation Gain: +920 m
Trek Distance: 9 km
Duration: 4 to 5 hours

From Deurali, you start with an ascent that ranges from lush vegetation to the rocky, alpine landscapes. Reaching Machapuchare Base Camp, have a quick stop to drink in its majestic views of surrounding peaks. Gradually, the upward trail shows the massive expansiveness of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Each step higher in the crisp, thin air flushes over the dream of completing the ABC trek route.

At 4,130 meters you’re awarded with amazing 360 degree views of towering peaks covered in bright white snow. In the serene atmosphere at ABC, the silence and magnificent atmosphere of the Himalayas gives a moment of deep reflection and accomplishment. Marvel and carry on with the rest of the day in amazement of Annapurna I’s splendor and truly mind blowing vistas.

Day 5

Morning Enjoy the Sunrise View In Base camp - And Trek back To Bamboo , 6 Hour, 1830m

Altitude: 4,130 m to 1,830 m
Elevation Loss: -2,300 m
Trek Distance: 16 km
Duration: 6 hours

Today is our important day of the six-day Annapurna base camp trek. We get up early at 5 a.m. and capture the beautiful sunrise over the Annapurna mountain before having breakfast.

After the beautiful moment, we begin our descent that goes through snowfields and then green forests as you make your way down. You will retrace your steps through Machapuchare Base Camp and Deurali, with the opportunity to appreciate views you might have overlooked on the way up.

As you descend the air gets richer in oxygen and the dense forests of rhododendron and bamboo bring you back. Your knees take the beating on the downhill path but the pace isn’t as hard. You will come across Bamboo, a place with the forest’s peaceful ambience. Take some time in this place, and peacefully remember the travel, and the impressive views as you travel.

Day 6

Trek to Jhinu (4 Hour) – Drive Back Pokhara by Jeep- 1 Hour Drive

Altitude: 1,830 m to 1,780 m (Jhinu Danda), then to 800 m (Pokhara)
Elevation Loss: -1,030 m
Trek Distance: 8 km

Drive Distance: 27 km
Duration: 4 hours trek, 1 hour drive

For your final day of the 6 days ABC trek itinerary we starts from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda. Firstly, we will ascend a few hours to Sinuwa then descend to Chomrong river, cross the suspension bridge, and eventually lead to Chhomrong. Get ready for some steep descent from here on. Then Stone steps down the path line requires your balance, but your effort has its reward, too. Relax in the natural hot springs of Modi Khola, which will relieve your muscles and give you a refresh.

After your relaxation in the springs, you now have a jeep ride back to Pokhara, with all the attractive vistas covering terraced hills and pearly landscapes. Your garden for the end of the ABC trek is Phewa Lake, serene and cool, with the mountains clearly seen in the waters reflecting around. An evening spent over the lakeside, celebrating your travel together, remembering your days of the trek, and also the stunning beauty of the Annapurna region.
