Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a teahouse trek which pertains that you will be accommodated in teahouses or similar to mountain lodges in the alps. Teahouses are wooden built houses along the trail that provides with basic accommodation facilities.

Most tea houses in the trekking trail have common bathroom ,  the teahouse which you will have to share with other guests. Hot Shower and Internet services are available but costs extra. Each room in the tea house have at least 2 twin beds. The beds in teahouses have foam pad, pillow and blanket. You can always ask for an extra pillow or blanket to your guide if the provided one is warm or comfortable enough.

 

It is cold in the higher elevation and a central heating system, a Bukhara Stove( iron cylinder fit with chimney duct where log fire is ignited) is available in dining of all the teahouses. Power sockets are provided in the dining areas usually since the electricity. in teahouses at higher elevation is Solar Powered.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking- 9 days Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive In Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in the capital of the country, our representative will be waiting at the Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome you. You’ll then be transported to the hotel in our private car. You can take the remainder of the day to rest and get comfortable with the change in environment. Later in the evening, you can explore the streets of Kathmandu and savor Nepali cuisine!

Day 2

Kathmandu to Pokhara By Tourist Bus -8 Hour

The second day awaits a long scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Bus. Pokhara, a city surrounded by infamous Himalayan ranges, is the gateway to the Annapurna region. Known for its infamous Phewa Lake, stunning mountain views, and lively ambiance, we reach Pokhara after a 6-8 hours long drive. You can take the remainder of the day to relax by the lake and explore one of the most happening cities in the country.

Day 3

Drive to Jhinu ( 2 Hour ) Trekking to Sinuwa -5, 6 hour -2340 m

After breakfast, we leave Pokhara and drive to Jhinu Danda. Located at an altitude of 1,780m, Jhinu Danda is a pleasant village famous for its hot springs. From Jhinu Danda, we commence our trekking journey. The trails take us through picturesque peaceful villages and dense still forests, giving a hint of tranquility that the entire trek has to offer. After a good 6-hour trek, we reach our destination for the day, Sinuwa at an altitude of 2,340m.

Day 4

Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali -3175m-6 hour

This day takes us deeper into nature, with fewer settlements, and the main trails to Annapurna Base Camp. Our journey will be accompanied by glimpses of the magnificent giants Mt Machhapuchre and the Annapurna south, walking alongside vibrant rhododendron forests, and listening to the calm sound of river flowing. Following a steep but adventurous trail for approximately 6 hours takes us to our destination Deurali, located at an altitude of 3,200m.

Day 5

Trek to Annapurna Base camp -5 hour, 4131m

The fifth day holds the treasure of our journey, as we head towards Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4,130m. As we slowly get closer to the Himalayas, the feeling of tranquility amidst the snowcapped giants is unmatchable! After an unrushed 5-hour trek, Annapurna Base Camp amuses us with a panoramic view of the majestic mountains Hiunchuli (6,441m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Machhapuchre (6,993m), and other surrounding peaks. We stay overnight at the base camp in the lap of the Annapurna ranges.

Day 6

Trek Back to Bamboo, 2300m-7 hour

Enjoying the most beautiful sunrise amidst the majestic beauties and soaking it all in, we commence our descent toward Bamboo. We have a 7-hour trek scheduled for this day, following the trails through the Modi Khola, and reaching Bamboo (2,310m) for the night.

Day 7

Trek Back to Jhinu Danda-1780m, 6 hour Drive back to Pokhara

Getting back to the Jhinu Danda where we started our trekking journey, we pass through the vibrant rhododendron forests, catching glimpses of the mountains, with the sound of the Modi Khola River flowing effortlessly. After a good 6-hour trek to Jhinu Danda, we end our trekking journey and drive to Pokhara.

With a feeling of fulfillment and returning to reality from the tranquil Himalayas, we stay overnight at Pokhara and celebrate the journey of a lifetime!

Day 8

Drrive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus

After breakfast, we leave Pokhara on a tourist bus to Kathmandu. The scenic 6-8 hours long drive gives us time to soak in and comprehend our remarkable journey. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can take the remaining time for some last-minute shopping, exploring the capital, devouring unique Nepali cuisine, or simply rest in the hotel. This is the last night in Nepal, make the most out of it!
