Everest Base Camp Trek starts with an exhilarating flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.

The total duration of the EBC trek is also heavily dependent on your walking pace, experience, and timeframe. The Everest Base Camp can generally be completed between 9 to 15 days. However, the itinerary can be customized considering your time frame, and speed. Usually, two acclimatization days are necessary for Everest Base Camp. The first acclimatization day is at Namche Bazaar which is the most popular tourist hub of Khumbu Region.

 

On this day, the trekkers get a chance to explore the vibrant Namche Bazaar Town and also witness the mesmerizing views of the snow-capped peaks. The rest day helps the trekkers acclimatize and reduce the risk of getting altitude sickness. The 2nd acclimatization day during the Everest Base Camp Trek is at Dingboche. Gokyo Lake Trek: (8 to 10 Days)

Gokyo Lake Trek can be completed in 10 to 15 days. The journey starts with an enthralling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The trek will start from Lukla and take you to beautiful places like Phakding and Namche Bazaar. Similarly, two acclimatization days are necessary for adapting to the higher altitude zones. The first acclimatization will be in Namche Bazaar where you get to stroll around the most scenic places of Namche Bazaar along the mesmerizing view of the stunning snow-capped peaks. On the second day you will stay in Gokyo for acclimatization and also for exploring the beautiful Gokyo Ri.  In general, the duration of the Gokyo Lake Trek is about 10 to 15 days. We have designed the itinerary of 13 nights 14 days counting the days of your arrival in Nepal and departure of Nepal.
