Trekking in Nepal Langtang Valley is definitely popular due to the stunning views of Langtang Lirung mountain, which is the highest peak in the Langtang Himal range. The peak stands at an elevation of 7,227 meters (23,711 feet) and is one of the most prominent mountains visible throughout the trek.

The folk dance of this community consists of Tamang Selo and is done with grand celebrations. A local legend gives rise to the name Kyanjin, and it states that the monastery Kyanjin Gompa was constructed atop a rock that resembled camel ribs.

Also, right next to the Kyanjin Gompa, there is the Kyanjin Yak Cheese Factory. You can visit there and try the local cheese of the region.

 

Best Time for Langtang Valley Trek

The Langtang  Valley Trek is possible to do  throughout the year, but Spring Season  (March to May) and Autumn  season (September to November) are the best time.
