My 15 years  daughter and did the 11 day EBC trek from Lukla to EBC. We were guided by Nanda Bastakoti and Pasang was our porter. Thé Trek was top notch. Babu arranged everything expertly by email and one phone call. From pretrip itinerary, deposits, email questions through to Kathmandu arrival and airport pickup, mountain gateway hotel accommodations (Babu’s hotel) pre Lukla flight outbound for the trek and again post trek things were spot on. Thé trek was fantastic. Nanda and Pasang are super grass roots salt of the earths Nepalese. Nanda is knowledgeable and friendly with a solid English language skill and Is very attentive to guest needs. The weather was blue bird and the views and trekking are like nothing else. The Himalaya must be seen. Words fail to convey the enormity and power. It’s as if your body actually feels the gravitational pull of all that mass thrust up out of the earth. They say average physical conditioning will see your through. The Nepalese average is likely better than the world average. Please don’t show up with out significant fitness preparation physically. I don’t mean you need a personal trainer but don’t just get off the coach and go. The lodge accommodations are bare bones. It is more like hostelling your way through the villages along the route from Lukla , phadking, Namche bizarre, tengbouche, dingbouche, lobouche, gorak shep and back down. Lodging is comfortable and absolutely adequate just don’t expect luxury as the trek is not about that.

Overall Adventure Great Himalaya is a classy, organization and I highly recommend them.

I did the Everest Base camp trek with Adventure Great Himalaya, and it was amazing! Babu and his team are great. They took care of everything. From the moment I landed in Kathmandu, to the day I left, Babu was there for me. Even when my trek was over, he continued to help with sight seeing options. From booking a bungee jumping trip, to seeing one of the many temples in Kathmandu, he did it all. I definitely recommend going with this trekking company. You won’t be disappointed.

Approaching mid November, a group of five  set out to attempt to
climb Everest Base Camp ( EBC Trekking ) on a 14 day trek. We did our research and based on the
timeline, we would be able to see Kala Patthar on a full moon’s night. A gorgeous
view of the sunrise and a sense of achievement was what we were all looking for.

There are many trekking companies in Nepal, but we went with Adventure
Great Himalaya and got to know the boss (Babu) and one of his guides (Nabin)
a little better. From the moment Babu picked us up from the airport and held
accommodations as well as the process of getting to the mountain to begin our
trek, it was handled with the utmost level of professionalism and efficiency.
Needless to say, the guide that we had was exceptional when it comes to
customer service as well as knowledge of the various mountains that the
Himalayas offered. Our porters were friendly and helpful in many ways, and on
behalf of the group we would like to extend our gratitude towards Babu and
Nabin along with the porters that made our journey that much more comfortable.

Thank you Adventure Great Himalaya, we will definitely patronize again. Until
