  12 Days  Annapurna Circuit itinerary

This 12 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek  Itinerary start from international airport to Airport, The trek begins with a swift drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Dharapani. The drive will take you around 8 to 10 hours to complete. On your journey, you will see the Trishuli river and pass the famous Besi Sahar.
Once you reach Dharapani from the drive, you will start your trekking journey the next day. The trek will involve passing through steep forest trails leading to Chame. You will then head to the village called Pisang the following day. The trek requires an uphill walk to reach Pisang, a small village with less than 150 houses.
The next day you will head towards Manag. The hike requires passing a wooden bridge over the Marsyangdi river. You will also pass through places like Narodhara, Humde, Mugje, and Bhraka. People usually separate a day or two to acclimatize and rest within Manang.
Once you explore and accommodate Manang’s altitude, you will leave for the hamlet of Churi Ledar. The trek requires passing through wooden bridges and passing hamlets like Tenki and Ghunasa. The next day you leave Churi Ledar to reach Yak Kharka. The road to Yak Kharka shows a lot of horses and yaks used by people for transportation.
You will head towards Thorung La Phedi from Yak Kharka the next day. The Thorung La Phedi is the base for Thorung peak, and the mountain can be observed well from here. You will travel through Thorung La camp after a night’s stay. The next day you will head towards Muktinath, crossing the Thorung La pass. Annapurna circuit trek with Tilicho lake Itinerary – 20 Days

The Annapurna circuit trek with Tilicho lake and Poon hill consist of additional trekking days along with the general destinations for the circuit trek. The trek will follow an almost similar itinerary as the general Annapurna circuit trek for the first few days.

 

This hike starts with a quick drive to Dharapani from Kathmandu or Pokhara. You’ll need 8 to 10 hours to finish the drive. While traveling, you will cross the renowned Besi Sahar and witness the Trishuli river.

The next day, your trekking adventure will begin when you arrive at Dharapani via the drive. The walk will traverse through narrow, winding woodland pathways before arriving in Chame. The following day, you will travel to Pisang village.

The following day, you will travel to Manag. A wooden bridge must cross the Marsyangdi river throughout the trip. After reaching Manag, you will spend a day or two for rest and acclimatization.
The route diverts from the regular Annapurna circuit trek as you head to Siri Kharka from Manang. The route from Siri Kharka will be able to take you to your destination of Tilicho lake. The Tilicho lake is a rare natural structure lying at the height of 4919 meters. The lake is enchanting and also holds a lot of religious significance. Myriad Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims visit the lake every year.
After your visit to Tilicho lake, you will retrace your steps back to Siri Kharka the next day. From Siri Kharka, you will continue with the regular road of Annapurna circuit trek to Yak Kharka. The following day you will leave Yak Kharka for Thorung La Phedi. Then you will finally cross the highest altitude of the trek at Thorung La pass, reaching Muktinath.
After a short exploration at Muktinath, you will leave for Tatopani the next day. The place is a natural hot water spring in northern Nepal, and people claim it gives spiritual healing. Taking a bath in the hot water spring will be a very soothing experience.

You will head towards Ghorepani the next day, officially marking the Poon Hill trek part of the trip. Ghorepani lies just below the Poon Hill station; a short uphill trek will take you to the hill station from Ghorepani. After sightseeing from Poon hill’s hill station, you will walk to Tadapani for a night’s stay. The next day you will head for Ghandruk and then drive to Pokhara.
You will need several days for this trek, maybe even exceeding a fortnight’s worth of time. You will follow the regular route to the Annapurna circuit trek through Chame in this trek. You have to drive to Chame from Kathmandu and then head for the trek to Pisang. The following day you will trek towards Manang. You will spend two days here exploring the area and acclimatizing. Manang’s Ice Lake will be a great exploration destination for the day.
After you’re done with your rest day in Manang, you will head to Yak Kharka. Yak Kharka will be among the last settlement areas before reaching Thorung Phedi the next day. From Thorung Phedi, you will head towards Muktinath crossing the Thorung La Pass.

 

Muktinath welcomes you with the holy Muktinath temple, which is a sacred Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage. After a little exploration in Muktinath, you will depart for Tatopani the following day. People claim that the location, a natural hot spring in northern Nepal, provides spiritual healing. It will be quite calming to take a soak in the hot spring.
Then you will depart towards Ghorepani, heading for Poon Hill station. You will trek to Tadapani after sightseeing from Poon Hill’s hill station. From Tadapani, you will head towards Annapurna Base Camp, passing Chhomrong and Himalaya. You will also visit the Machhapuchhre Base Camp on the day of the ABC visit. As the visit ends, you will walk through the roads to make your way back to Kathmandu.
You have to trek to Matque through Bamboo and take a drive to Pokhara from Matque. You can depart back to Kathmandu for a flight or explore Pokhara. This trek includes a lot of trekking destinations at once. So, it is going to take a long route and many days to complete.

Factoring in the trekking days, driving days, and acclimatization days, you could take 16 to 18 days to complete this trek. This variation of the Annapurna trek could even go longer than 20 days.
