Hi Mr. Babu and Arjun. Thanks for the great trip to Annapurna Base Camp- very well organized, with no hitches. Mr. Babu was at the airport to receive us and he was most helpful in ensuring we have a good trip. We were introduced to our guide Arjun Nepal who had worked in Malaysia before.

The trail took us through many different terrains – up and down rocky mountains, by streams of gushing waters, through farmlands and forested areas. We crossed many suspended steel bridges and scaled many hills. We had the opportunity to experience snow falls and hailstones at the Macchapuche Base Camp (3700m) and trekked in 3-4 inches of snow to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC, 4130m) the next morning. This was unexpected at this time (May 1 2012) of the year.

The trip had been made pleasant by our very helpful and able guide as well as porter (Bishnu). Arjun was most accommodating and spoke very good English and even the Malay language he picked up while working in Malaysia.

I would certainly recommend Adventure Great Himalaya Treks and Expedition. This is my second trip with the company. The last was the Everest Base Camp in 2010. They are reliable and the price is reasonable too !

I and my friend took a 5-day Ghorepani Poonhill Trek and we enjoyed the trekking very much. Babu  Karki, ( Director of Adventure Great Himalaya Treks) was recommended by one of our friends. Before coming to Nepal, he was very patient and helpful to answer all my questions (eventually our email is over 30 pages in A4 size paper). After we have arrived Nepal, he has arranged everything in order. Apart from the trekking, he is also our consultant for travelling Chitwan, Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. We cannot forget that when we had troubles with our hotel (booked by ourselves) in Kathmandu, he was willing to give us a helping hand. Many thanks  to Babu.

Also I would like to thank our trekking guide, Guman, and our porter, Anup Shah. I am grateful for their help during the trekking. It is a miracle that I can finish the trekking! (I seldom go for hiking in Hong Kong.) I particularly want to thank Guman for arranging a bucket for me every evening so that I can clean up the dead  sea mineral mud from my legs in the bedroom. I think few tourist would have such request in the mountain. I also thank Anup Shah for looking for me a stick so quickly when I was walking very clumsy on slippers on the way to the hot spring. (I had thought that it took only 5 minutes from the guest house to the hot spring but the fact is that it is a half an hour walk!) The stick really helped me a lot. Anup Shah, regardless the thing is heavy or light, you are always willing to help with sweet smile. Thank you very much.

Travelling Nepal is a very special experience for me. It is different from the other trips I had before. It is very challenging. Thanks again to Babu, Guman and Anup Shah who have helped me to fulfill my hope. I have no doubt to recommend  Adventure Great Himalaya Treks to anyone who intends to travel Nepal.

I did the Langtang and Goisakunda trek from 15 December till 30 December together with one guide and one porter and it was terrific.  I enjoy very much.  My Guide, porter were very kind , Good English speaking, professional and helpful,  it was  great fun with these guys.

ABC & EBC Trek with Adventure Expert Company
having initially planned to trek to EBC, a fatal accident 2days before and inclement weather meant we couldn’t get to Lukla to start the trek. Babu and his (our) guide Nabin tried their utmost to get us there but, unfortunately, to no avail. However, Babu did not give up. Instead, he planned an absolutely superb trek to Annapurna Base Camp just like that – flights, hotels, porters and tearooms all sorted at the drop of a hat.
Nabin was brilliant – he looked after us and raised our spirits especially after us not managing to do the trek we really went there for. He watched out for the weaknesses in the team and managed our walking around that. He was courteous, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. All in all, Babu and his team were excellent – my dad returned this year to conquer

EBC and, travelling alone, Babu and Nabin looked after him marvelously. They met him at the airport, took him to the hotel, and picked him up and, when the flights to Lukla were.

Highly recommended and I’m hoping to take my family again next year for the Panoramic Everest Trek, all being well, with Nabin as our guide.

I am Patrick from USA. This is the second time that I have had Babu and his team  arrange a fantastic trek for our family. Both have been excellent, professional experiences. Several years ago my family of 4 did a trek including the Annapurna circuit and a portion of the Annapurna sanctuary. Since Babu had done such a great job on that trip, I used his agency again for the latest trip.

I just got back from this year’s trek to the Everest region flying to Lukla and then trekking to Namche bazaar, Gokyo, the Renjo La and back via Thame. It was a wonderful experience. I used Babu to hire 2 porters to carry our gear. He provided 2 excellent porters including one who spoke English well. I also used Babu to obtain our plane tickets from Kathmandu to Lukla.

We traveled for over 3 weeks with our children who are now 8 and 12 years old. Babu’s agency is quickly growing due to his professional character, extensive experience, and easy ability to personally tailor your trip to what you want it to be.

My wife and I did the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Adventure Great Himalaya. First off all we had an incredibly wonderful time. It was our first time in Nepal and we were not experienced trekkers but our Guide, Arjun, made the journey the experience of a lifetime. He was knowledgeable, funny, and knew exactly how much and when to push us. We never would have completed our trek without his expert guidance. Our trek group of 7 members (from Malaysia), together with 2 guides and 4 porters, were well taken care off throughout this period. Food and toilet facilities along the trek was good. Our appreciation to our guides and hardworking porters who took great care to ensure that the trek went smoothly & safely. The scenery along the whole ABC trek was breathtakingly beautiful. Finally, despite the varied logistic challenges faced due to the interrupted fuel supply in Nepal during this period, Adventure Great Himalaya took great efforts to ensure our trek went smoothly within the budget agreed.

We trekked to Everest Base Camp + Kalapather and Gokyo Lake Trek via Chola Pass in April 2014 with Great Himalaya. The owner Babu Karki made sure we had everything we needed before we left Kathmandu. We had a group of 12, and with the help and encouragement of our guides Nabin and Tashuu, and our awesome porters, everyone made it over Chola Pass in good shape, even though other groups struggled and turned back. Trekking in the Himalaya for over two weeks was a dream come true, and the folks at Great Himalaya were a big part of the experience.
